ONLINE STUDY TOOLS EVERY STUDENT SHOULD USE

Technology has undoubtedly changed education forever. With most university assignments being written on laptops and submitted online, there are a world of online study tools that students can use to improve their work and make life easier. Keep reading to hear about three of my favourite online study resources that I couldn't survive uni without!

Google notebook

Although many lecturers may warn against using artificial intelligence (AI) for assignments, if used correctly, AI can be an invaluable tool for students. One of my personal favourite AI tools is Google Notebook. This free tool can make summaries of uploaded notes, create revision questions and answer any questions you have about the content. In my opinion, the best feature of Google Notebook is the podcast feature. With your uploaded notes it can generate a podcast between two speakers who will discuss your notes, breaking them down to be easily understood.

My Bib

Any university student will know how annoying referencing can be. My Bib is a website that takes the hassle away from the tedious task. By simply uploading the website address of your source, My Bib can generate over 9000 styles of citations! After making a free account, you can create tabs on the website for any projects you are working on and they will automatically save. Another benefit of My Bib is that it automatically puts all the references into alphabetical order.

Grammarly

Grammarly is an add on feature that can be downloaded to assist you in writing quite literally anything. Grammarly flags spelling mistakes, punctuation, tone, wordiness and plagiarism to ensure your writing is to a high standard. Grammarly can also rewrite phrases and brainstorm new ideas for you to include in content using AI. Overall Grammarly is an essential tool for any student to ensure your work is at a constant high standard.
